Mangala, 27, spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton but he made just two appearances for the Toffees due to injury. The central defender is desperately seeking a return to first-team action ahead of the January transfer window with his time in the Premier League seemingly up.And it would appear that Inter are ready to throw Mangala a lifeline as, according to Football Italia, the San Siro giants have tabled a ‘low-cost’ bid for the Frenchman. While details of the exact amount have not been revealed, Inter believe they can snap the defender up on the cheap, with the Italians reportedly valuing Mangala at around 12million. These latest reports are likely to spark several other interested clubs into action, with Mangala attracting interest from around Europe ahead of the January window.
