Sarri, 60, arrived from Napoli in July as the replacement for the sacked Antonio Conte and and after a promising start to life at Stamford Bridge, their form has dwindled over the last couple of months.It is Sarri’s belief that he is incapable of getting the necessary improvements out of the current players at his disposal – thus demands reinforcements if he does indeed remain in charge.During the Roman Abramovich era there have been several incidences of dressing room discontent, resulting in the sacking of a manager.The Russian owner has made 12 managerial appointments during his 15-year tenure in west London to date, with the club intent on hoping to avoid sacking Sarri after just seven months in charge.2

Sarri admits it’s hard for him to understand the current crisis at Stamford Bridge, adding: Im surprised because at the beginning of the season we played better away than at home so I dont know what has happened but at the moment we are in trouble.In the last three or four matches we were without a reaction from the first difficulty so we need to understand.It is difficult to describe our performance, its difficult also to understand.“We started well but after four minutes we conceded a goal in a stupid way.”
